DIVISION A - VEGETABLES
1. 4 white potatoes: any shape
2. 4 coloured potatoes: any shape
3. 5 stump rooted carrots
4. 3 long or intermediate carrots i.e. pointed type
5. 3 parsnips
6. 4 beetroot
7. 9 shallots: diameter not to exceed 30mm
8. 9 shallots: size unlimited
9. 5 onions grown from sets
10. 5 onions grown from seed, not to exceed 3"
11. 3 large onions, exceeding 3”
12. 3 leeks
13. 5 dwarf beans
14. 8 runner beans
15. 3 courgettes: length 4"- 6", excluding stalk
16. 1 pair of marrows: length not to exceed 15", excluding stalk

29. A collection of home grown vegetables displayed in a trug or basket and arranged for visual appeal. Parsley may be added if desired but no artificial aids

Jars to be standard shape, either 12oz or 1lb size and unmarked, i.e. no trade names or decorative covers. They should be correctly sealed and clearly labelled. Cover cookery exhibits with clingfilm. |
88. “Space Station Garden” - An arrangement on a large plate using your imagination to create a space-age garden
89. A Victoria sponge sandwich cake with jam filling, iced or plain, that you have made yourself
90. “Fruits and Berries” - An arrangement, in a vase, of twigs and small branches bearing autumn leaves and fruits
91. A photograph of something you did, or somewhere you went during the summer holidays
92. A sunflower head you have grown yourself
93. A plate of 4 fruit muffins (any type of fruit) (Male competitors only)

103. A bowl of flowers , grown in your own garden and / or allotment. No more than 15” overall
104. An arrangement using a candle in a candle-holder and fresh flowers and foliage. Any size, any shape
105. A petite arrangement in a liqueur-glass. No more than 10” overall
